Hit me up any day to eat here and I will. Love the fries, duh. But also it's yummy and cheap food. Shut lots of it! The fish tacos are super delicious and very crunchy. Oh and squeeze that lemon on top, it's just too good.

I ordered a burrito and  a chicken taco, each with tomato and onion added. I was charged 40¢ for each item as "tomatoes don't come with...".

I drive through and find a shady spot nearby to eat my lunch.
    Big disappointment.
    No tomato or onion. ‼‼
The tacos were great otherwise so I shrug off the ommission as a simple  mistake and, after eating the taco, I head back to order 4 more tacos to take home, along with burrito, to my husband for dinner. I figure this will also give me the opportunity to get two of the "extra" tomatoes and onion" for free, and give Del Taco a chance to make it right.

I explain the situation to the voice behind the speaker, recognizing it as the same teenage girl. "Let's see if we can get right this time!", I joke.

I get to the window and regret not calculating the total cost before (surprise!), a I-wanna-be-a-manager looking woman is now taking my money.  I check the l receipt to ensure I was charged ONLY 80¢ extra. (2 x40¢)
    SMFH

"I should have been charged only 80¢ because I already paid for it on my last order and it was left off.", I explain AGAIN, for the benefit of the "pinch hitter".

"It's 40¢ extra because the tacos don't come with tomatoes. " she explains needlessly, divulging her lack of comprehension of the situation. I now notice the original cashier and an extra face in the background, seeming to crowd in to hear the exchange.

I reach over to the receipt and burrito from the last order and ask
"Would you like me to show you that the tomatoes and onions were left off here? I shouldn't have to pay for two of the extra charges."

I search her eyes for signs of comprehension, instead reading her excitement to engage and challenge my claim.

"We can add tomatoes and onions to that butrrito." she offers.

I reply, "What about the taco? You want me to open my mouth and you can pour some down my throat??.
I would like a refund of...look...it's not the 80¢...it's the principle!
    This is ridiculous."

I looked at all of them, shaking my head as I drove off.  Cheap thrills...I guess you gotta' take them where you find them.

I have more important issues to occupy my time and brain.  After I write this review and post it in a few places, that is.

P.S. Here's a photo of one of the four chicken tacos with the "tomatoes and onions" I paid for twice.  It's difficult to see but there were no onions. So, they're inept and cheaters.

Contrary to popular belief, I have never had any problems eating their food, and I am proud to report that they now have Beyond Meat at Del Taco, so for those that are looking for a meat alternative, look no more.

I have never eaten at a Del Taco and no one has ever told me if it was any good.  I was across the street at the ATM and I was hungry and I saw the Del Taco across the street and decided to give it a try.  I ordered the carne asada burrito.  It was priced at $6.29 and I was a little surprised at the high price but figured it must really be a good burrito with lots of good stuff inside.  Boy was I wrong.  It was mostly rice and beans and the meat was so awful I could only eat half of it.  It was full of gristle and couldn't even be chewed. and they charged me a quarter for green sauce.  Surprisingly the best part of the meal was the sauce.  I will not be going back to Del Taco, not just this one but any Del taco.  Horrible food at a high price is not my idea of a good place to eat.

My chicken wet verde burrito plate came with the burrito, rice with tomato cubes on top, refried beans & tortilla chips. The chicken was hard to find; the cheese topping nearly tasteless; the beans were okay as were the chips. The burrito tortilla tasted undercooked and was tough.
